Re: So Cal Memorial Weekend - Waffles and Mini Jam
Sorry for leaving the polish cloth, Gary; I bought a package of those at the auto parts store; the polish cloths are made from the same material as cloth diapers, excellent for polishing auto or guitar finishes.
If anyone is wondering why I'm holding the EBow backwards, it's because I often combine picking/strumming with using the EBow, and I have to switch really fast, so there's no time to pick the EBow up and set it down between parts.
I used to keep my bridge covers on, even though I palm mute (never an obstacle for me), but when I started using the EBow backwards, the end of the EBow would audibly hit the bridge covers of my Ricks when picking or strumming, so I removed the covers on two or three of my main stage Ricks.
Oh, and on the subject of the Mastery Bridge, Mike Snow stopped by on Thursday and installed a Mastery on his 330. After adjusting the bridge just by line of sight and ease of play, he strobed tuned the guitar, and without any adjustment, the intonation was essentially spot on, just perhaps a fairy-hair's breadth out on the G-string, with plenty of room for adjustment, and a difference that was inaudible to our ears.

There is no reason to ever be bored.
...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

Let us know if/when you get back out here and we'll be sure to provide you with some waffles.
