1964 365 Restoration

I sent Larry Davis a wrecked '64 365 FG New Style for a restoration.
As you can tell by the "before" pic, it was in awful shape. Body couldn't be saved so…he made a new one!
The back was modded by a previous owner with a Tele style string thru. Needless to say, the back warped. More pics once finished.

Nice work!

I think I remember this body, did it have Van Ghent tuners? Cool project, can't wait to see the finished product. :D

Nope, it had Hi Gains, black guard and Grovers…... :oops:
All wrong parts, meh. :?

He's going to try and match the FG's from my '64 360S/12 and other '64 365 prototype... :D In other words, nice dark FG with wide coverage.

Crying shame to see a 64 NS that was butchered so badly. Great project to bring it back though.

I don't have the serial number hand but I believe it was October, 1964.
