Very sad news

Very sad indeed. George was a real sweetheart, and a fine musician.

Sad news. I met him at the first BARC. North of Malibu really rocked their set at that event and he seemed to have a real passion for everything instrumental surf. R.I.P., George.

Just now learned of this. Sorry to hear that we are minus another great and beloved person. We lost Ken Joseph way too soon, too.

Just now learned of this as well. George and I had many dealings together and we shared a love of surf music. So sad. RIP George.

I have been away for 9 months so this is the first time I heard this.So very sad.Rest in peace George.

Today would have been George's birthday; his 68th, I believe. A day doesn't pass that I don't think of him fondly.

Let's remember George and his wonderful spirit as we go about our daily routines, shall we?

A great talent, miss ya, man...

I still think of George each time I log in. He so loved his music and introduced me to a fine amplifier builder. Seeing his name here and having people reminisce about him continues to be a comfort.
