ANY chance of a MARF this summer???? I'm STILL upset over missing the last one. Hoping that there will be another one.........

Summer would be too soon as there hasn't been any discussion about when the next one would be.......so we can gauge the interest for a potential fall 2014-spring 2015 time frame.....possibilities at best, for the moment.

Last time I spoke to Chris about this (which was definitely over a year ago), it seemed like at the very least, POTR hosting this would be a no-go.

This is correct, and to add further, it would probably be for the best to see what Kenny is looking to do for a fall event in the Southeast. No need to plan a MARF for some time to come IMHO....I for one would enjoy seeing a Southeast Confluence get off the ground. Some really nice Rickenbackers live down there.

I'm sure it doesn't make you feel any better, but there's a west coast cricket orchestra that has already been chirping as you can tell by the SCARF thread.

Who would come to DC/NoVA for a MARF and stay Fri/Sat nights in a hotel? If I can get enough people and "crowdfund" it, I'll host another one. SERF worked out just fine, but RRF traffic is way down since then, thus caution. btw, Thinking Aug 1-3.
