Hello,

hope you have seen this
http://www.the-searchers.co.uk/latest.htm

Near bottom of News: German Friedhelm Kaus is ready to launch a 3 vol. book set about The Searchers! Looks terrific!
The books (in a slipcase) is all ready for production. But he'll need a certain amount of buyers to push the button. If he succeeds in reaching 800 "subscribers", it will be out before Christmas. You are not asked to pay before the descision is definite.
Read about it on his web page! You must expect to pay some money to get it (he will not by any means get rich from the minutious work he has put into it. I guess he has a hope to reach a Break even). Important parts are in English (too), but main language is German.

Hope you (as me) join in! I guess it's now or never!

Einar (fingers crossed).

Just curious: No great interest in this enterprise?! I think he needed 800 subscribers to come through.
If no great enthusiasm: Too expensive? Not that much interested in the Searchers history?
Still hope?

The main language being German is probably a bit of a show-stopper?

(To DavyR: Yes, probably).

Here's the latest news about the project: Delayed release, reduced price. Still hope?

Friedhelm phoned me a few week ago needing some help for his books. I had to answer right away as the books were ready for printing. Still waiting. But it is probabely cheaper than announced in the beginning.
