They won't ship to USA. Not sure where they will

What's wrong with just getting a standard USA Fender Jazz Bass in Olympic White? Or, like we say about Rickenbacker instruments in general on this forum, why get a copy when you can get the real deal?

Actually it's because it's inexpensive and the headstock brand is Marquis.

My bandmates in a Soul band I perform with call me Marquis.

I know there are Harmony Marquis basses floating around. I would take one of those instead as long as it was playable

Quality decal makers are a dime a dozen. Just get a decal made to your liking, and pimp up another bass! Done and done...

Interesting that the bass uses the same bridge as that of an OLP Stingray (licensed interpretation - I wouldn't call it a copy).

I was thinking Lakland but I guess you're right
