Wow, this is going to make break my "no more bass" vow.

I found the skinny wings to look unbalanced with the binding but spot on without.

Hopefully this is going to be a hit for RIC!

Yawn.

Give us the checkerboard binding that's sporadically enticingly dangled over our heads, just enough to be out of reach. Or, better yet, the black trim option.

Otherwise, enjoy the wasteland that is the Rickenbacker official forum...

This isn't the official forum, but thanks for signing up just to be a dickhead. I'm sure you'll prove to be a valuable member.

Who said that this WAS the official forum? As I stated, I was referring to the "Rickenbacker official forum" which is obviously NOT rickresource.

And, as I alluded to, it's now a ghost town over there. And, by "over there" I obviously mean NOT here.

All it needs now is a vintage pickup option, but truth be known I'd be just as happy with the hi-gains if they just had a few less windings..

Anyway this is great news, even better than a RM reissue!

This is good news. It saves me from buying a more expensive 4004, then routing it and adding a bunch of parts to make my own 4003S. Wait a minute....I actually did that several years ago. I'm sure I've got a pic somewhere.

YES! My dreams come true. I was saving money for 4004, but 4003s or 4001s was always my dream.

I wonder to which point we must say "Thanks Guitar Center". Their limited run of 4001S may have allowed RIC to program their CNC to now manufacture the 4003S.

Anyway, endless thanks to RIC for having released this serie.

Nice to see the 4003s back in the line up. Just don't take the 4004 out...
