Anyone have a feel for what a 68 P bass should go for. Some details. 9 out of 10 easily. All original ,66 dated pots, 68 stamped neck with lolly pop tuners. I have a line in it here in Europe

I see lots of '68 Tele basses around and a few Js but but hardly any Ps... weird....

My estimates for excellent original condition:

Sunburst: US$ 3,500 to 4,000
White/Black: add $500
Custom Colour (e.g. CAR, Dakota Red, LPB, Sonic Blue): add $1,000 to $1,500 over sunburst.

For a dealer price, add 30%.

Mint custom colour prices can go through the roof.....

I didn't see "add" the first time I read through this.

I thought, "what? Why would white/black be of such comparatively little value?"

Then I saw "add" and felt kind of dumb.
