Re: RIP: Paul Kantner (74)
Sad to read this. I grew up, musically, with the Airplane.
I have only had the opportunity to see Paul during the two shows he played during Rickenbacker's 75th Anniversary weekend.
This is from the Museum of Making Music show that Saturday evening.
And, the following evening, at the House of Blues.
R.I.P. Paul.

R.I.P. Paul Kantner. I grew up listening to the Airplane and he was a great influence to me. I saw them several times in the '60's. One of the reasons that I started playing Rickenbacker guitars. He will be missed.

I saw a scroll headline of this news a little while ago. Very sad to hear. (I also saw him at the 75th celebration.)

Sorry to hear this. Very sad. Part of an alarming trend that seems as if another great one leaves us every other day.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

The best vacation I ever had.
Re: RIP: Paul Kantner (74)
I just heard "Somebody to Love" this week on the radio and listened with a bit of a smile as PK jangled away at the rhythm on that great hit.
Sad to hear he has passed. Their early songs gave me plenty of great musical moments!!
