Guys

I have just looked at the register entry for my RM 1998 serial DA87, which is currently for sale on Ebay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162243388171

Somebody has updated my register entry with the following comment:

'Possible repaired headstock crack; not stated in ad but unusually dark overspray in the neck/headstock joint area'.

This is completely untrue. The ad clearly states under a BOLD heading:

'HEADSTOCK

A self-inflicted headstock split has been professionally repaired at a cost of £150 (receipt available). Technically it's a very solid competent repair, though the back of the neck at the top is now darker than it was originally (see photos). Please do not hesitate to ask for more details about this repair. I have 'before' photos; the damage was not significant and did not affect playability even before the repair.'

Maybe the writer was looking on a mobile and didn't scroll down? Please correct straight away.

Well, with a headstock mishap, you and JL have something in common!
