Hi all,
I recently completed some work on my trusty old 430. I've refinished it a few times over the years but wanted to do a little more this time. Nothing drastic though, mainly I used a 5/16" round over bit to soften the edges front and back, then a 5/8" bit to add some extra contouring. What a difference, it's so much more comfortable that I haven't been able to put it down!

Cool, but why did you not smooth the transitions of the two radii at the waist?
Re: 430 Makeover
Thanks. I used my 615 as a guide for the extra contouring and what I did was pretty close. It has pretty sharp transitions to the un-routed edges of the body. In hindsight it looks like maybe RIC used a 3/4" bit so the effect is even more pronounced.
I've only seen photos of the 200 series, but it looks they have some edge contouring as well...
