4005XC Owners -
If possible, can someone please tell me the overall length and width of the XC?

I get 45¾" long and 15 3/16" wide.

Nice recordings showing what I really love about the sound of that bass. Initially I saw the trapeze tailpiece as a flimsy string attachment method (well… it is) but it’s a key element into the way the strings resonates. I’m not sure you’d get the same overtones with the classic but heavier R tailpiece.

The 4005XC has become my main bass.
