Post by K9-4026 »

Just learnt from the Brendan Perkins channel on YT of this product.

Impressions from those of you playing this?

Kinder to frets?

What differences in sound have you noticed?

Vielen Dank.

Never used but looks interesting.

Ernie Ball Cobalt flats get you pretty much the same tone ime. And no finger noise and less damage to frets than rounds. Worth a try.

Roto 66 and DR Fatbeams are my favorite rounds in a Ric. But I settled on the flats for reasons stated above.

I'd be curious because it looks like they do come in my preferred gauge at least for E standard.

But I'm slow to change anything. I don't change my strings often enough as it is, plus going to a different brand can be a pain because the tension and intonation might be a bit different.
