I spoke to Sheronda at the Signature Inn today and placed my reservation. We can ALL possibly get a $59 per night group rate if there are enough of us. Right now it is $66.

As much as I would love to come and hang with you guys and admire each others Ricks, my work schedule is going to be very hectic for the next couple of months. Maybe I can post pictures of the confluence on my website...and hopefully there will be another in the future that I will attend.

I'm going to check out the feasibilty of making the trip up there.

I'm scheduled to be at a client's office in Dallas the Friday before and then back at the office in Houston the Monday after.

Check out Southwest for cheap flights to Columbus. They are one of the few airlines to still have a hub here.

I figured it was about time I started contributing to the Forum! Has anyone contacted Chris at Pick of the Ricks and/or Mike at the Rickenbacker Page for vendor presence?

I noticed some talk about having celebs attend. I'd like to add Peter Buck from REM and (a longshot) Paul Weller to my wishlist!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!
Can somebody at the confluence meeting check on the differences in sound and handling of the two different PU positions of the 4004Laredos or Cii, and give any clue about the sacrificing of the 1 inch distance of the neck PU for the better access (according to Ben Hall) to the truss rods on the neck of the new 4004Cii??? (see the below link)
