Peter,
I consider console and pedal steel instruments to be beyond my general base of knowledge, as I do not play or collect them. However, after consulting Gruhn's Guide to Vintage Guitars,
this steel appears to have 4 legs, which makes it a console. The configuration conforms to the 700 Series. The 10 and 8 string neck compliment make it a model 718.
The DW, to which you referred, is a 3 leg instrument and was available in 2-6 string or 2-8 string necks.

Richard: Thanks for going the distance on this one.

I have a 1950's Rickenbacker steel guitar, double neck, 3 legs. It has been wrapped up and stored for over 40 years. No case.

Where can I find out the value? How to sell it? Where to sell it?

Thanks, Roger
