This bass is going to need a some work so I am selling it as a project bass guitar, it will need new truss rods, since they are adjusted all the way, it did pull the neck straight but it does need more ump, a $300 repair, I would press the neck anyway, the saddles were ground down so as to get the action down, there are 4 extra holes on the heel and the top rib do to moving the button for the strap, we removed the machines since we noticed some gouging under one and found extra holes under them, so I am not sure if they are original or were replaced with later ones, they look original to me, one of the eyelets of the machines was doctored for some reason, it does come off if you mess with it, all the electronics, pickups do work well, it does have scuffs and scraps especialy down the neck and around the edges, ( the checkered binding still looks great ), since it has been gigged professionally for years, the input jack has a IK 569 which I believe puts it at 1969, the pots look 1968, still a stunning looking bass, books between 6-7k and its a fret-less by the way no one has ever really seen a fret-less before that I know of, and Rickenbacker said they could have been custom ordered back then
