- This is not a standard Ric 381. It has been completely refurbished by a luthier with over 40 years experience in instrument making. ( Facebook - Alan Miller Guitars)
The guitar required a new back which is genuinely hand carved out of book matched flamed maple. Unfortunately, the checkered edging was not available.
The middle pickup - made by Kent Armstrong - was added and is activated by the micro switch on the pick guard. This allows 5 pickup combinations and all have those distinctive Ricky sounds.
There is one minor ding near the slash sound hole.
The guitar comes with the original hard case
The frets are in perfect condition -the instrument has not been used. Ric no. SO 6307
