Here we have a cool old Ricky 4001 Bass from 1973 that has the extra cool checker binding seen during that period. The bass has has a complete refinish and a pro refret at some time so lacquer has been removed from the fret board. In my opinion this is an improvement! Finish has turned a very nice creamy colour. All hard ware is recent original Rickenbacker 4003 parts apart from the upgraded bridge. Set up ready to play with a low fast action, one great playing, sounding Ricky bass.
