     This is a refinished 1963 Rickenbacker 4000 bass guitar, yes, this bass is almost 50 years old. If you're looking at this you understand exactly how rare this instrument is. I comes complete with the original horseshoe pickup that alone is worth over $1,000. I can't say that the tuners, knobs and pots are original because I don't know for sure but they were positioned that way to me when I bought the bass. I have the original bridge and it will be included as will a new "vintage" Rickenbacker case.

    As you can see in the photos it was originally fireglo but was stripped and finished with an oil rub.
