- The serial number is QF2539 dating the bass to June of '77. The bass has been stripped to bare wood and refinished in Acrylic Lacquer and polished to a high gloss. The body binding had begun to separate from the body so it was removed, making it a little more comfortable on your forearm. All hardware and electronics have been replaced with new, OEM 2009 factory parts where available including pickups and wiring harness (new style hi-gain with push/pull "vintage" pot), tuning machines (Schaller) and pickguard. The truss rod cover has been painted white and the logo has been painted in silver making for a very nice look. The bridge is a new HIPSHOT brass unit making individual adjustments to each string quick and easy.
