     This is a 1974 Rickenbacker 4000 bass converted to replicate "McCartneys" 1965 4001S. It started life in a Jet glow black finish but was stripped back to bare wood and resprayed professionally to match the classic 60's Fireglow colour. A three way selector was added, plus 4001S spec wiring done. Its currently set up with nice sounding flatwound strings. Comes with a non-original Rickenbacker case. A modified 4000 with set neck not thru neck.
