     The original Kluson tuners have been replaced with new Gotoh machines (the original tuners will be included but there are only eleven...the previous owner somehow lost one).

    The guitar was restored at Ed Beaver's famous restoration shop in Nashville last year by widening the neck to it's original dimensions (play wear had worn it down) and refretting the board as well as replacing the tuners.

    The original owner had, at one time, affixed something to the back of the guitar as there are several tiny holes in a rounded pattern and a 5/16" diameter hole that has a wooden plug repair.

    There is honest play wear on the forward and rear top bouts and some belt wear to the back. Also shows finish wear along the back and sides of the neck with a few small spots of wear to the headstock here and there.

    The chrome finish to the tailpiece shows moderate to heavy freckling to the finish but the bridge plating is bright with slight wear to the top corner from hand resting.

    The tailpiece is stamped "E I" and "892" indicating a manufacturing date of September, 1965.

    None of the cosmetic flaws affect the playability of the guitar...it still has that "Rick ring" that only these vintage pieces have.
