- Butchered in NJ Ebay 351039381152 and 201065258045
Ex White BT stripped to maple.
This is a May 1975 Rickenbacker 4001 bass that has been sanded down to the wood and could use a little work. I painted this guitar twice, once green once orange. Their is some green and a little orange left over in the cavities mostly the truss rod. Also their is some very faint orange paint left deep in side the grain and of a few dings/scratches. It isn't terribly noticeable until you look closely. Nothing some sanding couldn't remove. The binding has been replaced and I didn't get it on perfect. Mostly the trimming on top of the binding needs some work or could be done over again. Don't expect a factory binding job.
Its has a repaired neck I repaired back in 2001. It is mostly a clean crack from from the 1st fret to the 3rd right underneath the fret board on the top side of the guitar. The other side is a little worse (see pics). Also notice a little green paint in side the crack.
