Description: This circa 1957 Rickenbacker M8 combo amp is a sweet little practice amp with a dark warm tube tone. It has been recently serviced and all the wiring is to original specifications. The M8 is 13 3/4" wide, 11 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" deep at the sloped bottom. It is stag gray with a tan grill cloth. The tubes include a single 6v6, a SY3 recto tube and a 12AX7 tube. It has the original single Jensen Concert DP-Alnico-5 eight inch speaker. The transformer has the code numbers 3604-3 and 412708. Other features include the original clear plastic handle, a Rickenbacker metal logo on the front, and a gray metal control panel with a chicken head volume knob and dual inputs. It weighs 11.6 pounds. The five digit serial number T63_ _ is stamped on the bottom of the cabinet. The cabinet has some corner wear. This Rickenbacker amp has a nice vintage fuzzy tube sound. The plastic handle and gray color give the amp a very 50's look.
