- Once,I replaced the middle pickup by a Di Marzio,but switched back to the original wiring and toaster.The guitar is all original apart from the bridge(rickenbacker replacement),machineheads(ric deluxe)and the nameplate on the headstock.The orig.one was hand-drawn(faded to invisibility). The fretboard is newly freted and coated.At that time, rickenbacker conversed right handed bodies into lefties by simply sawing the f-hole into the opposite side.They also mounted a right-handed vibrato.The guitar is well adjusted ,has easy action and is ready to play. serial nr. is DE531.I bought this guitar in 1977 from a small music shop in Dean street/London.
