As with all amplifiers of this age, especially this model, it has a few issues. To the best of my ability, here they are: (1) the AC plug is fully functional but it has been replaced - somebody probably bit off the ground to reduce 60 Hz hum. (2) On the subject of hum, there is light 60 Hz hum throughout. This is affected by a number of variables, including placement of the guitar vis-a-vis the amp, usage of higher-frequency effects (e.g. treble boost), type of cable used, and similar factors. I have heard many noisier amps and it's nothing a gate can't fix. (3) The reverb effect does not work and there is no reverb tank, you might be able to get it working with a new tank but it probably is more effective just to use outboard reverb. (4) All of the lights illuminate on the "Rick-o-Select" channel and each one of the functions works. All of the dials work (treble, mid, bass). (5) EXCEPT the built-in "fuzz-torsion" effect. In fact, if you engage that function, then the "Rick-o-Select" channel does not work. (6) It is unknown whether the "temperature" light illuminates. The "pilot" light does not illuminate. It is unknown if the "overload" meter works. (6) Continuing on with the "Rick-o-Select" channel, the tremolo does not work but there is a light throb when using that channel - you can adjust its speed. This may be a feature, not a bug. (7) It does not come with any footswitches and it's possible that a footswitch would turn the tremolo on. I looked in the box where we keep all of our old footswitches and couldn't find one that fit the jack. It also does not come with any pedals. (8) The "standard" channel works and sounds great. Given that the amp is over 40 years old, we are selling it "as is."
