     Up for sale is a ONE FAMILY OWNED 35 year old Rickenbacker 620 12-string guitar in Fireglo finish. This guitar is a 1981 Model. This was the second year this guitar was produced.

    It was purchase in late 1981 with a manufacturing date of July 1981. The original owner was an older gentleman down here in the Dallas area. He collected new guitars so this one was hardly played. When he passed 11 years ago he had 35 guitars and most were sold by the estate to a local Guitar Center. Each of his nieces and nephews got to choose one guitar to keep and one of his nieces picked this guitar since she had a picture of him and her with the guitar. She kept it in the closet for 11 years until she just decided to let it go.

    The guitar is 100% original. It has a small plastic repair at the tip of the pick guard (this can be seen in the pictures), some weather checking (also visible in the pictures) and an extra strap button hole in the upper bout ( also visible in the pics, I have no idea why this was added). In addition to the weather checking, which is very cool on this guitar, there are a few minor bumps and bruises. Un-played for over a decade!
