Tuners not original.
"I've owned and played this guitar since 1988. It plays nicely, holds it's tune well and sounds great! This is an old guitar with a bit of wear, but everything still works well with the exception that the treble tone pot doesn't seem to have much effect on the sound anymore.
The original tuners were in bad shape when I bought this guitar and have been replaced with a set of Gibson tuners I had at the time, no modifications were done to the tuning head, it was a bolt on replacement.
The original pick guard was also broken when I bought the guitar, I fabricated the one that's currently on the guitar, the 4001 or 4003 bass pick guard should fit and can be purchased from Rickenbacker if desired."
