This "Thin Full-Body Series" 365-F, 17 inch wide, 2 1/4 inch thick hollow body guitar weighs 8.90 lbs. and has a nut width of just under 1 5/8 inches and a scale length of 24 3/4 inches. Maple body, 'checkerboard' binding on top and bottom edge, with an unbound "cat's-eye" or slash soundhole. Three-piece maple and walnut neck with a medium-to-thick profile, bound rosewood fretboard with 21 frets and triangular pearl inlays extending completely across the fretboard. Individual 'single-line' Kluson Deluxe tuners with oval metal buttons, stamped on the underside "D-160400 / Patent No.). Two Rickenbacker chrome bar "toaster" pickups with outputs of 7.88k and 7.79k. Two-piece white ' pickguard with four mounting screws. Five controls (two volume, two tone, and one blender control) plus three-way selector switch, all mounted on lower treble bout. Seven-sided black plastic knobs with metal tops with black lettering. Rickenbacker bridge, Rickenbacker 'vibrato' and Rickenbacker "Two-Note" tailpiece. "Rick-O-Sound" stereo and "Standard" jack inputs. The potentiometers are stamped "137 6037" and "137 6039" (CTS, September 1960). The serial number "JK 72" (November 1960) is stamped onto the jackplate.
The blender potentiometer has also been changed and is stamped "137 6601" (CTS, January 1966). The soldering on this pot is identical to the other four, which makes us suspect that the aforementioned issues were in fact carried out during a return to the Rickenbacker factory sometime around 1966.
