- Up for sale, a 1963 Rickenbacker Electro M-8 E combo tube amplifier in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Made by Rickenbacker with an Electro nameplate, this straightforward little tube combo was originally sold in conjunction with a lap steel, and is the perfect amp for recording and low-key rehearsing. The amp pushes 7 glorious all-tube watts through a vintage alnico 8" Heppner speaker, and begins to overdrive quickly for some very smooth and studio-friendly textures.
Fully serviced by our techs here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, this true point-to-point circuit is pure and simple, featuring original transformers and new capacitors and resistors as needed to ensure optimal functionality. The tube compliment includes a vintage G.E. 6V6 power tube and G.E. 5Y3 rectifier, as well as a new JJ 12AX7 preamp tube.
