    Combo model with one pickup only; appears to be one of approximately 5 examples made for a trade show with combo-style solid butcherblock body with German carve on front, Capri style 3-piece glued-in neck (tenon showing on back) and toaster pickup in bridge position. No explanation for the lack of a neck pickup, but not a chambered body like a model 600; therefore given a "650" designation, though this may not be technically correct. Other than lack of neck pickup and related V/T controls, has similarities to examples with serial numbers C8148 and C8145, which are designated as 850 Combo SPC.
