     This may be a long shot, but my Rick 481 was stolen from my home in Galesburg IL by burglars May 1985. At the time everything was stock and it was (of course) in a Rickenbacker HSC. With the web, I've searched in vain for one coming up at auction or sale, but have struck out to date. Any help or leads welcome. Best, Ken

    UPDATE May 2 2020: I have recovered an inventory list of my instruments from that time, and the serial number is 2213 (I believe PC 2213). I am unable to post that Serial number here because there is an entry for the guitar as an unsold eBay item (Dec 26 2019).

    I am in contact with the local police in Galesburg, and believe I found a record the guitar being sold on Reverb within the past year. I don't have any reason to believe that the most recent buyer or seller knew that this guitar had been stolen.
