- I installed a Hipshot bridge and a brand new tension rod. The original tension rod was shot but the neck is still straight. I also have a new pickguard. I don't know much about the pickups since they were already installed when I bought the bass. The brand is Shadow and they honestly don't sound bad. There are toggle switches for each pickup that adjust the tone or the hotness of the pickups. Only the Bridge Pick-up works. Comes with Ernie ball strap locks and strap is included. The paint does show some wear being that this bass is 36 years old. The white stripe on the back is just tape.
