One of the most exquisite basses that Rickenbacker has crafted over the years has to be this 1977 Model 4001 in autumnglo finish captured in a series of photos by Jon Casselman. The following images certainly speak for themselves and are nothing less than a sight to behold. That this instrument is one of the most beautiful Rickenbacker creations certainly gains support from the fact that it lasted a mere 2 hours on eBay before being whisked away to a new home.

The shading of this Autunmglo finish is superb and the earthy brown tones are very natural and pleasing. The white binding provides a dazzling contrast and compliments the overall look. Classic Rickenbacker tonality makes this 1977 Model 4001 complete. This is truly a tempting treasure, and one that few enthusiasts could resist.
