"How to be a sleuth"
Hey Peter!
What a surprise! I figured my guess was a "long shot." I figured wrong, I
suppose... or right, depending on how you look at it. ;-)
In reading the "I've Just Seen A Face" rules, the line about "The individual
submitting the photo will be sending the prize to the winner..." made me
first suspect either "BobKat" or "encapsulight" (what does "encapsulight"
mean, anyway?). So I started sifting through both of their posts in
a.g.r -- looking for any mention of them owning a 360 in Burgundyglo. No
dice.
Then I tried searching a.g.r (via DejaNews, using their power search
feature) with the specific term "360 AND Burgundy." I got about half a
dozen responses. Gerard's was the last one on the list. In his post, which
was quite lengthy, he wrote all about his first RIC. A Burgundyglo 360 that
he purchased with his high school graduation money.
I have chatted with Gerard in the AURS chatroom a few times, and I seem to
recall him being about 3 years younger than me. So, I did the math and
figured he graduated in 1984.
And that's how I came about my guess!
CHORDially,
Andrew Spencer
P.S. I'll take a set of .010 Pyramids for a six-string guitar.
