Wooly Bully

"Wooly Bully" by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs creates a level of excitement comparable to how I felt when I had the good fortune to find this photo in the Rickenbacker Registration Page mailbox. I really find the laminated headstocks to be captivating and the photo is nicely balanced with the headstock of Lance's 365 Mapleglo flanked by his Carl Wilson 360/12 Signature Edition in Fireglo on the left and his recently acquired 360V64 Fireglo on the right. The background has wonderful earthy tones and is perfectly chosen to accent the triangle fret markers and binding and the mapleglo and fireglo laminated headstocks.

Lance's enthusiasm for his Rickenbackers is portrayed in this photo, long before his comments in which he relates "I picked up a Mapleglo 360V64 at the last guitar show I attended in Detroit last winter, and she is a very nice little guitar. I got her for less than $1000.00. I have turned into a true Rickaholic, and I am having a riot. I am hunting for a 1958 thru 1960 Capri 330 thru 375. I did not know it would be this tough to get my mitts on one, but I will. I am also looking for a 21 fret 345. These are not that easy to come by either, at least here in the Great Lakes States.
