1953 Rickenbacker Catalog Notes:

M-88 AMPLIFIER - The Rickenbacker Model M-88 is one of America's best amplifier values. It has outstanding tone reproduction qualities plus the same modern design found on the most expensive models. It also has the Rickenbacker "clear-view" control panel mounted on top of the sturdy cabinet.

The M-88 has two instrument inputs; volume control and tone control. The heavy-duty eight inch Jensen speaker provides excellent tone qualities for bass and treble tones. The amplifier also has a jeweled pilot on-off indicator and extractor-type fuse.

Musicians requiring a fine amplifier that will provided good sound amplification without distortion at an economical price will be pleased with the performance of the M-88. It is made to rigid Rickenbacker specifications providing modern styling and durability. It is covered in attractive Stag Gray. Size: 13 inches high; 18 3/4 inches wide; and 7 inches deep.
