~ MIKE PENDER'S SEARCHERS ~

This section of "Needles and Pins" provides photos and information about Mike Pender's Searchers. Additional information is always gratefully received and adds to the history of this group.

Mike Pender left The Searchers in 1985, forming MIKE PENDER'S SEARCHERS. The original group members included: Mike Pender - guitar; Chris Black - guitar; Steve Carlisle - Drums; and Barrie (Baz) Cowell - bass guitar. This lineup remained the same until 1996, at which time Chris Black retired and emigrated to Australia. Chris was replaced on guitar by Paul Jackson. In 1999, Paul left MIKE PENDER'S SEARCHERS to concentrate on teaching guitar and he was replaced by Kevin Healey. A photo of the current group members is seen below.
