We have a new forum!

Postby Gil Disatnik (gibsonlp) on Fri Oct 05, 2007 11:54 am

Welcome to the new home for RickResource.com!

Please make sure you read the following instructions, otherwise you will not be able to regain access to the forums!

The good news: We moved to phpBB3
The even better news: ALL existing archive information was merged into the new forum. This means that almost all posts since 2000 are now back online, searchable and appendable
The annoying news: Since Discus (the old forum system) and phpBB3 have completely incompatible credential system - you will have to retrieve your password
DON'T WORRY!
All your profile information and your previous posts were kept, the only thing you need to do is to reclaim your password
Before we tell you how to do it - we urge you to familiarize yourself with the new forum system, first by going to the user control panel and making sure all the details you have are correct and second by looking at the interface in general.

For those of you who find the new layout intimidating - we have prepared a special "Old forum" style which you can use in order to make yourself feel a bit more at home
You can change that in your "user control panel" under"Board preferences". Just change "My board style" to "Old Forum"

In order to reclaim your password, just click here
If you encounter any problem retrieving your password - please email rrpass@disatnik.com

Please remember:
Click the activation link BEFORE you try the new password!

Good luck.

Thanks Gil. I cannot thank you enough for your assistance in this move.

I like it much better than the old style. I would recommend playing with the color schemes some.

Thanks to those who had a hand in the upgrade.
