Liverpool’s Iron Door Club

The Iron Door Club, located in an old warehouse at 13 Temple Street would be the site of the first all-night rock events in Liverpool during the early 1960s. The Iron Door would see many groups grace its cellar stage including The Beatles before they appeared at The Cavern. This site provides a series of articles about the history of the Club, the artists who played there and stories from fans and musicians discussing the music and events that would lead to the British Invasion.
