When The Beatles Anthology came out with all the alternate takes, I was impressed that by and large, what they chose to put out was better than what they rejected. You'd hope that is the case, but it isn't always.

Another isolated track from "Something," this time bass & drums. Although the bass level drops off a bit in the bridge, it's clear to me that he plays D either on the 5th fret on the A string or open. The "Bass Player" magazine transcription show D below the staff, but it's wrong.

I doubt that anyone who has been in a band and had a girlfriend ever seriously believed that Yoko broke up the Beatles.
