Thanks for the heads up, Darren... bidding wars are not my thing, so I'll keep an eye out to see where the prices go. It's not exactly a "must have", I just thought it would be neat to have with the guitar. http://archives.rickresource.com/clipart/happy.gif And thanks much for your kind words ...

No worries John, I greatly appreciate your feedback. I've been playing for a long time, but am a complete newbie to Rickenbacker ownership; this is the first REALLY NICE guitar I've ever owned. So, any tips from serious Rickenbacker "disciples" such as yourself are most certainly welcome. http ...

The earlier pics I posted were somewhat overexposed, due to my having the black guitar against a dark blue ...

Hi guys-

I laid out the guitar and took some shots just a short while ago; nothing creative yet, just some overall and detail pics. I'll get to work in Photoshop to get something a bit more creative in the Gallery, though. http://archives.rickresource.com/clipart/happy.gif

Here's an overall ...

Thanks much for the kind welcome, guys! I'm still somewhat in shock that I even own it... I found it in a damn flea market, of all places, near here in Virginia Beach. The guy who ran that booth *sort of* knew what he had- he said the FD code meant it was made in August 66 (close, but wrong... April ...

New Rickenbacker owner with a couple questions

First of all, allow me to introduce myself... my name is Lynn Ritger, and I've been a Rickenbacker fan for years. Thanks to the info I found here on the board and on the RickResource site, I decided to pick up a positively mint 1966 450/12 in Jetglo with original case AND strap (serial FD 1166 ...
