14 years ago and I am mortified about how maudlin I was over this. At 39 I now realize there’s so much more to life. In fact going over all my past posts on this forum. Kind of cringy.

Hello all. How you guys are all doing well I removed my TRC to find these chips... Can this be repaired? The guitar comes out of the factory in a satin finish... Prolonged use add a bit of shine from friction.

...and string type has nothing to do with it. That's all "finger-friction".

I've had two. The finish does that with prolonged use... It's totally normal

I think I've got the action nailed down pretty decently for my 'touch'. The neck angle seems to be in line with the plane of the body... the only obvious "off" thing I ever noticed was what I call the "oops block" in the control cavity. :wink: Great job on Rick Roosa's bass, by ...
