GEM Amp?
Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I've posted. I recently got myself a TR7 amp as a bedroom amp, and I love it! I have to say that it AMAZING for a bedroom amp! I think it sounds excellent in my 620. It competes with some 5W tube amps I've tried in the past. I feel like Rick was ahead of it'...

Re: Great American Guitar Show (Fall Philly) Nov 9+10th
The Philly Guitar show was awesome this past summer when I went. I think I hung out at POTR the most. I think I played about every model there. I fell in love with the 325 there, but had no money for it. I regret playing it because now I want to get one. GAS! Chris sold me the toaster pickup I now h...

http://i.imgur.com/R4FgUGK.jpg My Ric 620 with one toaster upgrade in the bridge. I usually play bridge only or blend with the Hi-gain. Love the way it sounds! Amp is a Marshall Valvestate 100 (not that great but it's OK, tube preamp only) and an old Marshall 1965A cab. It has 4 Celestions greenback...

Re: Want my Baby in Black
The guy from Winfield Vintage can make you a black "Harp" tailpiece. It isn't the iconic R Tailpiece, but it will fit your needs.

I always thought the 6/12 converter was really cool. How does it play as a 6 string with the octaves muted? I'd love to try one sometime in my life

Re: Rics in your dreams
I had a dream about my RIC, but I'd call it more of a nightmare. For some reason my 620 neck snapped off and was put back on with Gorilla Glue and my tailpiece was warped into some weird shape. It was one of those dreams that felt to real...

Stiv Bators - It's Cold Outside. Modified RICs ???
I've never seen any RIC models like these before? This single is from 1979. I really hope they aren't fakes. I know fakes started to come into existence in the 1970s, but the TRCs look real. Can anyone give any insight? Here is the song should anyone want to listen. It's a cover of a 60s song: http:...
