Well having owned many of those guitars (including a Ric325) there is no doubt in my mind that that is a Ric....Actually the tremolo parts to me sound more like an accent vibrato...but certainly not a strat, a strat has too steady of trem system to do that (even with 2 springs) just my thought

well, the trip was great...a dream come true (one could say) Played the cavern 5 or so times (amazing place; great atmosphere for anyone that hasn't been), shows in Amsterdam and London and even got to do a little sightseeing (mostly in london). My only regret is that I wasn't in london ...

I bought one and used it for the first time this weekend...a good way to think of it, is to think of it as more of a 70's or 80's hofner bass....no slot below the neck....different pickups...etc. As the owner of a german hofner, I would safely say that not only the does the new icon series play ...
