I wonder if the diameter of the in the headstock holes are the same or if my bass has been redrilled to accomodate the small Schaller tuners. What is the diameter on the standard ferrules? Dane, What did happen with the ones you replaced? Do you still have them?

I have noticed that the C64 comes with tuners that would be perfect for bringing my 75 4001 back to original appearance. No Ric logo and slotted screw head. Do they come as spare parts?

Have anyone tried the treble pickup surround that Pickguardian offers? I do not play with a pick and the original pickup cover is in the way (looks good tho). Any opinions?
