Ok John, I get it. By now I just shorted out the cap and I also like this sound. So the answer seems to be the little switch. Thanks again. I'll try it, anyway if I get into trouble I'll ask for more.

I'm very sorry. I didn't have the chance know him but, man, a lost is always a very hard thing. Hope his family will overcome.
Let's keep on Rickin' for him

Ok John, I'll try this option. You know I'm not that handy with circuits but I have the diagram that guy gave me with the pot/switch. I know this may sound ridiculous but, where exactly should I place the toggle? Thank you again

Thank you all, specially Bob, Greg and John. I think is a pain in the *** to drill the wood. Maybe I'll leave it as it is now, anyway I love vintage sound, although the possibility of having both sounds, sounds great.

Hi Mark, I just bought it to a guy in eBay, and I don't know the reference. Anyway, besides Ken Joseph information, have a look here at Mike Parks page:

He seems to have it.

Ok, my bass already has the yellow cap, should I use the new one besides the old one? A cap for any different pick up? that might sound more McCartneyesque at Penny Lane that McCartney himself. :-))))
Thanks a lot Kris. I'll do it, I liked that of "The best of both worlds"

Well, that's for sure a peculiar record, I like it and I'm sure it needs to be heard patiently. Is not the same McCartney as ever, as Brian Simer said, he's a 65 year old guy, and he looks and sound like this. There's no more "Silly love songs" even if he plays it now that'd sound older. What I like ...

Push Pull kit on a '75 4001

Hi guys, I've recently bought a "push pull kit" to have more range of sound on my bass. So, I have a question, is it really worth to install it on a '75 Rick? should I leave it as it is? you know, sometimes I'm scared to change things on my bass, and I'm not shure if it is a good move. Please, give ...

There's another place you can look for spares:

I've done business with Mike a couple times and everything was fine.
Hope you can find them

Hi Scott, I don't know, may be you're right (I lost the pack and all the specs), the thing is that until now I've no taillifting (Hope won't happen) and they feel ok.

Richard, I also play in a Beatle tribute band, I mostly use the Hofner but in my Rick as in the Hofner I use Labella flatwounds and I think I have a very nice Beatle sound. (you can see some vids in http://www.youtube.com/sargentomorsa)Image
