Re: Go Sox!!

The real Fenway faithful are among the best and most knowledgable fans anywhere though, I have seen them appreciating and clapping for other teams and players many times. (not the Yankees though  ). I usually try to maintain some decency at Fenway when I go there to see the Sox. I have see...

Re: Poll: When Did You Acquire Your First Ric ....

Hmm...First Rick was a 4003 in Midnight Blue (I think it was around 1987, I got it used) and the most recent was the Blue Boy 360 (August 2004, I think). In between is a 4003 Jetglo.

Re: Go Sox!!

there are Yankee fans everywhere who support anyone who play against the Sox, ...and I'm one of them!! Of course, I am from Da Bronx!! I won't hold it against you, fratello. I certainly don't doubt your allegiance to the Yankees, but let's get serious. The passion of the Sox is something I'm sure y...

Re: Go Sox!!

I know nothing about him (Matsuzaka). Can he handle the pressure of the Rockies crowd? I don't know Mike, he hasn't lived up to the 20 million they gave him yet. I feel bad for him, doesn't speak English and is not used to our customs. He's been having a hard time, lost more than he won the past fe...

Re: Go Sox!!

I'm pulling for them, Bob! Not necessarily a Red Sox fan but I respect the way they've played. Actually I was impressed with the Rockies too, up until this series. As usual, Bob, there are Yankee fans everywhere who support anyone who play against the Sox, thus, not much support here. 2 to 1 right ...

Re: Go Sox!!

Agreed.

The bunting is very "old time" all over Fenway, and the Old Lady looks fantastic.

Rock on, Sox.

Re: GO TRIBE!!!!

The boys did it again - with flair, class and with a little help from our friends in Japan. The romance continues. Go Sox. Ditto that. Tribe put up a good fight. I wouldn't be surprised to see them back in the ALCS next yeat. I absolutley agree. The Tribe did play good, *clean* baseball a...

Re: GO TRIBE!!!!

I was very happy to see the Yankees get put away by the Indians. It will be interesting to see if the Indians will be able to get by Beckett and Schilling. I think Steinbrenner is the worst thing to happen to the Yankees, and he is probably the biggest laughingstock in MLB right now. He's got *zero*...

Abba certainly gets a lot teasing, but I have to agree, some of the best pop from the 70's came out of Abba's catalog. It's not just the songwriting - it's the arrangement, the playing, and the production with those Abba records that really impresses me each time I hear them. They had a great sophis...

First musical memories....I have problems with questions like this, because I have so many memories attached to so many songs. I usually wind up getting emotional/romantic/nostalgic about it. I think my first real musical memories was hearing "Let it Be" on the radio, and after that, the e...

I usually use Rotosound Jazz Bass strings - maybe I should give the Rick strings a shot. I did order 3 sets of strings for my 360 from Rickenbacker and they are the first Rick strings I've put on my 360 since I purchased it. The Rick strings (at least for the 360) have a fantastic "chime" ...
