Re: What are you plugging your 360 into?
I love Fender amps. Mine actually started out as a Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue. I replaced the trannies with Mercury Mags and then I decided to point to point the amp back to 64/65 specs. Probably have as much money & time in it that I could have just bought a real 64/65 Deluxe - crazy but I love ...

What are you plugging your 360 into?
Just wondering what amp you are using with your 360?
Are you happy with it?
I'm using a 1964 Deluxe Reverb clone and I really like it. It has a Celestion G12H in it and has a mid boost on the normal channel.
I run both normal and vibrato channel at the same time with a Radial Switchbone JX-2 ...

Re: Possibly buying an '83 360, have a question.
I have no idea myself but I did own a Ric from 1981 that was exceptional with toasters. The one that got away
. I'm still kicking myself for letting that one go.
I just got a current 360 that is fabulous. If you get it please post and let us know what you think.

Re: I'm Back
Thanks for the welcome - I remember my first RIC. I think it was an 81', her you go:

Loved that guitar but I let it go for a Martin that wasn't all that...but I did discover the 360 Jetglo as a result.
He's my ol' 360 JG:

I'm Back
Yes, ric330 is back - been crazy busy with so many projects and thought I'd stop by and see what's up.
I'm the guy who posted a couple how to's with photo's like toaster tops on high gains, modern to vintage tuner conversion, etc. a while ago.
Love Rics still working on lots of guitars and but Just ...

Re: Schaller to Kluson conversion for a 2008 330?
If I recall right the reissue Kluson style tuners that RIC uses are actually made by Gotoh.
They are very nice. I had them on 2007 360 and gigged with it alot and I must say I never had an issue due to tuners. The thing I find is that many believed tuner issues - originate at the nut slot or ...

Re: Schaller to Kluson conversion for a 2008 330?
Great eye scotty  ,
That picture of a young George is right next to the DR stings sticker top middle of that last picture of the 330.
I've got about 6 more guitars to finish up before I leave for Italy.
BTW that little .0047 uf cap on the bridge pickup is a real cool subtle trick. Kind of ...

And a couple of the back:

I'll put the stereo jack in today and the .0047uf on the Push/pull blend knob along with the wiring modifications.
Getting close.

Re: I can't believe I have to sell! new 360 JG w/ vintage case
Thanks for the kind words everyone.
I was really digging this new guitar. I'm absolutely in shock over the prices to Italy.
I guess when you buy in advance you really do get a better break.
This is going to be more like $6000 for the family just to get over there and back.
Life can throw some ...

I can't believe I have to sell! new 360 JG w/ vintage case
We just got news from Italy that my Father in-law is not doing well at all.
I need to fly Myself and family to Italy pronto. This is going to be expensive. Over $5000.00.
I can't believe I just finished this project and I'm going to have to sell her. My family is certainly more important than my ...

Wilberry is using a DA5 maybe he'll jump in with his take on it.
I've heard they are alot of fun for a small amp.
I've never tried one though.

You know I think you're right, they didn't bind the end of the fretboard back then when there were less frets...
I can probably set this right by tomorrow morning after a few more beers..........
