i just found out my haed can distort! it doesnt break up very well it acctually sounds like fuzz.... like the soviettes or old garage bands... whcih is good because im in an old school garage band! SCORE

wow really dfa 1979 uses just his amps? thats crazy! i think i hear some flange in there too though

the cabs that guy uses are really large and have a lot of small speakers in them.... it looks like 8X12 or something with a lot of horns. thats from a distance though

i've got an extra vintage treble pickup tone knob, just in case i lose...that one knob in particular, i was in a guitar store in edmonton trying to find replacement knobs for a beater SG that i have and i saw the vintage rick knob so i picked it up for the hell of it... so if anyone needs that ...

Quick question about pickup covers

okay i know that most pickup covers for 4001's are made of plastic, but I'm wondering:
a. if theres anyone who makes metal ones
b. if those nifty split covers are metal and if they are easily attainable

because the pickup cover is the only thing i didn't get with my 77 4001 and even if i didn't ...
